MAYBE. They had a good shot at 50 wins last season, then Lamar and Walton both missed about 30 games. If that happens again, Kobe will be forced to hog the ball and he'll burn out by the time playoffs start.

If they do win 50 games and Kobe keeps up his scoring, he may get that MVP.

i think they would because some of their injured players are coming back to play but im not 100% sure
how will they win the championship u idiot, this is the west u have to win 50+ games to go to the playoffs, not like the east where if u win 30-40 games ur in LOL. and yes lakers will win around 50.

there is a tiny chance that they will mesh, stay healthy,play as a team, get some kind of production from the center position and even then 50 games will be hard to reach. Though its possible it is very unlikely
no i dont think so. fisher isnt exactly that great of a PG, he just chucks a lot of 3s. walton is ok but hes no all star. odom is a good player but again he aint no all star. mihm sucks, lost a lot by getting injured so much. i dont think LA can get 50 wins. i dont think LA can even make the playoffs since the west is so hard even without oden and garnett in it.

no way i dont think the lakers are good enough to get 50. if dallas didn't get 50 last year then no way the lakers are going to do it. mihm, walton,and fisher aren't that good anyway

Not a chance. They had most of those elements last year, and only managed 42 wins. In the West, there's no reason to think the Lakers will significantly improve unless they make a genuinely drastic roster move. The players they've added so far won't be enough to keep up with the negative effects of aging and injuries.

They *might* be a 50-win team if they were in the East, but even that's doubtful. So many other teams are getting competitive and adding talent, and the Lakers are doing almost nothing to improve.
