Why isn't Stu Lance the voice of the lakers?

Stu was Chick Hearns right hand man for years and years. He now is the right hand man for whoever this guy is that took over. I think Stu not only is more knowledgeable of the game but tries to be impartial!

Firstly his name is Stu Lantz not Lance..

The other guy's name is Joel Meyers and Stu is no sidekick this time around. Chick has shown his the 'ropes' so-to-speak and h e often takes command of the commentary and is in full knowledge that Mr. Meyers plays sidekick this time around.

Stu Lantz is the man. You're very right that he is very impartial and that's what it takes to be a legendary sports commentator. He's a huge part of the Laker organziation and everybody in L.A. loves him.

The lakers announcers have become as bad as the blazers announcers. I dont mind watching the lakers on channel 9 but its a bit annoying for anyone who's not a lakers fans to hear those two horrible announcers announce a game in such a homer way.

i'm not sure why the Lakers have different commentators for the telecast and for the radio. i know Chick used to do both. Stu is definetly very knowledgable.
