Why is the Staples Center darkened above the fan's bleachers when the Lakers play at home? I mean, as i can see it from the television whenever they play, it's so different when it's the Clippers who play at the Staple's?
But the court or the floor and the team's benches and the courtside fans are well-lit? Do you know why does tha Lakers dim their lights at home games?
Lakers Fans, question about the Staples Center?nba
Yes it's part of the promotion called "Lights Out" it's kinda dumb they wana make it look like Madison Square Garden where they have always dimmed the lights. It;s like putting the spotlight on the people on the court and NOT the people in the crowed.
Lakers Fans, question about the Staples Center?nhl ,nba teams
im not sure i have heard wat he said above me but idk
It's like the first guy said. Madison Square Garden has always done this for Knicks games. It adds drama and spotlights "the game". The Staples Center has decided that they'll do the same. Kinda cheesy being such a obvious copy of MSG.
a promotion last year.
The forum where they used to play had the same lights out and they wanted to bring it back.
